Ajay is currently Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Alteria Capital, which provides structured capital solutions to high-growth innovative start-ups in India. He is recognised as one the early pioneers of the Indian venture industry and has worked with startups for more than 20 years. Ajay was acknowledged as being among ‘The 40 Who Matter in the Indian Start-up Ecosystem’ and among ‘Top 100 Leaders shaping finance across Asia’ by Live Mint and Fintech Asia respectively. Hattangdi has a B.Com from Mumbai University and an MBA in Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Ajay is passionate about preserving Mumbai’s heritage. In addition to serving on the Managing Committee of the Maritime Mumbai Museum Society, he is also an Advisor to KHAKI Foundation which aims to spread awareness of the city’s rich history among its residents and visitors.
